BuddyKeep is designed for private household use. Pet timelines, reminders, documents, and memories are meant for the people you explicitly share a household with, not for a public feed or public profile.

BuddyKeep supports household sharing, but it does not expose private pet records to search engines or public social previews.

Access to BuddyKeep data is tied to household membership. Owners can invite other household members, and permissions are limited by role.

Free households do not get collaboration features. Premium households can invite other people into the same private household space.

Active household data stays available while the household is active. Archived pets stay part of the household history until they are intentionally removed, while timeline entries remain visible unless a household member explicitly deletes them.

Uploaded files stay available while they are still attached to records that matter to the household timeline. Detached or orphaned files may be cleaned up later through background maintenance rather than immediate destructive deletion.

Invite, billing, and reminder-delivery records may also be retained for operational, audit, security, and support purposes.

You can permanently delete your account through the profile settings page if your household meets the eligibility requirements (free plan, no other members, no active pets).
